I think I might have a go at doing a chicken in the slow cooker, especially if it comes out really moist.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421703706571264249.post-71238726021850245262012-04-18T11:50:37.802-07:002012-04-18T11:50:37.802-07:00A very productive day indeed. Mine never eat the skin anyway. I usually cook my veggies separately. I throw all the skin and bones back into the pot when I've stripped the chicken. Add an onion, carro, bay leaf and some black peppercorns and plenty of water to make stock.

Thanks all for stopping by and for your comments.

Karen xKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03109194637274444457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421703706571264249.post-33752018491373002932012-04-18T02:30:39.093-07:002012-04-18T02:30:39.093-07:00I thought the title of this post was pottering, I&...I thought the title of this post was pottering, I'd say you were positively busy. What a productive day. I've never cooked a chicken in the slow cooker, doesn't it come out looking a bit anaemic? I do like to see a nice roasted skin, though it's only taken off and thrown away. Do you cook it on it's own or add the veggies to it? Sorry, so many questions. Those pasties look delicious, and the fillings sound scrummy.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421703706571264249.post-17246141033145809432012-04-18T00:20:07.206-07:002012-04-18T00:20:07.206-07:00So much achieved on the cooking front and the iron...So much achieved on the cooking front and the ironing is a bonus too, my ironing pile is way out of control again!
Lisa xLisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05286339918056081955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421703706571264249.post-43472330064802804012012-04-17T23:57:28.649-07:002012-04-17T23:57:28.649-07:00Wow, you have been busy.Wow, you have been busy.Dchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02490191919855219024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8421703706571264249.post-22009031222044068382012-04-17T23:52:23.843-07:002012-04-17T23:52:23.843-07:00A very productive day!!
